EFAW

Emergency First Aid at Work​ (EFAW) is a six hour basic course that is suitable for staff who work in low risk environments, such as offices.

It can be delivered in two different ways: six hours in the classroom or three hours of eLearning and three hours of practical in the classroom.

Course Content

  • First aid regulations.
  • First aid kits for the workplace.
  • Scene assessment, safety & hygiene.
  • Initial assessment and recovery position.
  • Airway problems such as choking.
  • CPR and AED.
  • Bleeding control.
  • Shock.

Who is it for

  •  Low risk office staff

Course Length

  • 6 hours, either:
    • 1 day in the classroom or
    • 3 hrs eLearning & 3 hrs practical
